Let's talk about the Earth first.

The climate and biodiversity crises are already seriously affecting the Earth.

The whole point of CitySprout is to get people outdoors, to enjoy the earth and its wonderful biodiversity. So we've done as much as we can to reduce our environmental footprint.

Delivery

We're still figuring out the best shipping to use!

We use Challenge Packaging's recycled and plastic free postal boxes. They are a verified Carbon Neutral PAS 2060 organisation.

Because of the lack of plastic in our packaging, we recommend designating an undercover safe spot for your parcel if you won't be in - or leaving a plastic bag on your doorstep!

We all have a responsibility to make environmentally conscious decisions.

Here are some ways you can help...

  • Nature Volunteers - a great way of searching for national opportunities

  • The Wildlife Trusts

  • The Woodland Trust

  • RSPB

  • National Trust

Write to your local MP.

Consider the impacts of what you buy:

  • Surfers Against Sewage

  • UKYouth4Nature

  • Friends of the Earth

  • The Climate Coalition

  • Landworkers' Alliance

  • Rewilding Britain

Volunteer for environmental organisations. Check out if these organisations are active in your area:

There are also lots of local organisations which may be a bit harder to discover... keep an eye out for them when out and about.
