Deck containing 68 cards. Including instruction leaflet. Includes unique illustrations of 42 plants and facts.

Instructions
Every player is in charge of a city. The goal is to have the most biodiverse city at the end of the game. This is calculated using biodiversity points. More Sprouts in your city at the end = more biodiversity points.
Your "city" refers to the table/area in front of you. When you plant Sprouts into your city, they become visible to other players and are at risk of being stolen, swapped and affected by other action cards.
Your "hand" refers to the cards you hold. These will include action and sprout cards, but never event cards. There is no limit to the number of cards you have in your hand, having more may give you an advantage at the end of the game, but you must play 2 cards every go. You can gain extra cards from events and actions.
Card Types:
SPROUTS → Sprouts are planted into your city and contribute towards biodiversity points. Apart from Ivy-Leaved Toadflax, there is only 1 of each sprout in the deck.
IVY-LEAVED TOADFLAX → This special Sprout card can contribute to any group and can be moved between groups at will, with no cost. It cannot be stolen or swapped. There are 4 in the deck.
ACTION CARDS → These cards create actions, such as stealing a sprout, looking through the discard pile, or forcing a player to discard. The card will state its effect. Examples include:
"Look through the discard pile and put one card into your hand."
"Steal a sprout from another player." After use, they are played into the discard pile.
EVENT CARDS → Identified by a different back colour, these cards take effect at the beginning of the next turn when drawn. They affect players equally or randomly. Once played, event cards remain in the discard pile.
Groups
Each sprout belongs to a group which is denoted by colour and name. Having complete groups in your city gives you bonus biodiversity groups.
A group is complete when a player has its required number Sprouts in their city. The required number of Sprouts is shown on the card. Below is also a list of groups and their card counts. Ivy-Leaved Toadflax can count towards any group.
Completed groups are protected from being stolen or swapped but can still be affected by other types of actions.
GAMEPLAY
Setting up:
Making sure event cards have been removed, each player is dealt 7 cards. Event cards are then shuffled into the deck.
All players choose the name of their city (does not affect gameplay).
The player with the longest full name goes first (this is the time to discover other players' wacky middle names!).
Turns:
Each turn follows this sequence:
Resolve Any Waiting Event Cards
Pick Up 2 Cards from the draw pile.
Play 2 Cards, choosing from the following actions:
Plant a sprout into your city.
Play an action card.
Discard.
Finishing of the Draw Pile: Negotiations
When the draw pile runs out, negotiations begin before the next turn starts. This happens only once per game. Players can freely trade sprouts from their cities, including those from completed groups. However, action and event cards cannot be used to influence trades. No teaming up against other players!
Ending
Once negotiations are over, players continue taking turns, playing two cards each, until no one has any cards left to play. Watch out, some players may save their meanest cards until the end!
SCORING
Biodiversity points are calculated at the end of the game as follows:
Each sprout card = 1 point
Each completed group = +2 points
Player(s) with the most different types of groups (complete or incomplete) = +3 points
The player with the most biodiversity points wins. In case of a tie, the game ends in a draw.
